Using VPN Proto
VPN Proto is an Android VPN client that connects to servers using configuration details you supply. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with applicable law. The public release of the redesigned Android app is in preparation; availability will be announced on this website.
Your servers and configurations
You are responsible for obtaining permission to use the servers and accounts you configure, and for keeping credentials and private keys secure. VPN Proto does not supply VPN server subscriptions or guarantee the availability, privacy practices or performance of third-party servers.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to violate applicable law, infringe other people’s privacy or intellectual property, distribute malware, or attack networks or systems. The service terms of your chosen server operator also apply to that connection.
Availability and limitations
The app is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device, server, network or protocol extension. A connection status or internet check does not guarantee anonymity, freedom from leaks, access to a particular service or a specific connection speed.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VPN Proto and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Independent projects
OpenVPN, WireGuard, V2Ray and other project names and artwork identify their respective technologies. VPN Proto is independent and is not endorsed by those projects. Included components remain subject to their own licenses, available through About & licenses in the app.
